Ashley Johnson

Ashley Johnson is a contributing writer for Rooted. She received her master's degree in Magazine, Newspaper, and Online Journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with studies primarily focused on womanism, women in music, and LGBTQ issues. When she is not writing she can be found avidly traveling the world, collecting tour shirts, and raging along at punk rock concerts.
